Back in 1992 Dakin released a set of four Jurassic Park stuffed dinosaurs. One of them was a beautiful Brachiosaurus.
I remember buying the Dilophosaurus, Velociraptor and Triceratops when I was a kid, but never managed to get the Brachiosaurus, because it was so much more expensive. I always regretted this however. Quite a few years later I was very fortunate to find one in excellent condition, including its original tag, on a flea market.
As you can see on the pictures, this Brachiosaurus is HUGE! When you compare it to the Kenner figures, it’s almost in the right scale.
The colors are a bit off compared to the movie version, but this doesn’t bother me too much. If this toy would have been made out of plastic, it would have fitted right into Kenner’s JP universe.
This Brachiosaurus is definitely one of my favorite Jurassic Park toys. What’s yours?

This is amazing. I won this exact one at a Chinese auction when i was in 3rd grade. One of the best days of my life. Dont remember what happened to it but I would love to get a hold of one of these again someday!
I have one that my godfather purchased me in 1992 when the ride was under construction. I have had it 26 years and it is still in good condition 🙂
Can I buy this off you?

Wonder what they worth
The Dakin brachiosaur is my Holy Grail. I’ve got the other three (raptor, dilophosaur, and triceratops), but I’ve never been able to find this one in the wild. Except once, around late 1993, at a candy store at the Dakota Square Mall up in Minot, ND. I wasn’t able to get it at the time, and I’ve been searching for it ever since.
My daughter has one…bought for her when she was very young, she named it Daisy lol. She loves it…the only problem with it is when she was younger she used to roughhouse with it, but it held up fairly well. The only damage is the rod inside its neck that holds its neck straight up broke so his head doesnt hold completely straight up anymore, but she still loves it lol.
