It’s a great time to be a Jurassic fan. Mattel, who inherited the Jurassic-licence in 2018 for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, hasn’t limited its designers to the current franchise. A Jurassic Park pin brooch for every occasion
Posted on — Leave a commentAn outfit in the 1990s wasn’t complete without a Jurassic Park touch. Back in 1993, British company Dufort & Sons Ltd. made Jurassic Park licensed pin brooches featuring photos of the film’s star dinosaurs. They are made of hard plastic with the artwork printed on them, which makes them prone to scratching. The Jurassic Toys collection has a complete set of these pin brooches on their original card backs. Check them out here:

Posted on — Leave a commentSince 2018 when Mattel inherited the Jurassic World license, they’ve been pleasing Jurassic fans with their Legacy Collection subline. This line mostly takes its inspiration from the first three Jurassic Park films with big hits like the Comic-Con Exclusive John Hammond, Brachiosaurus, the T-Rex Escape pack with the Ford Explorer tour vehicle and the recently released Isla Sorna Capture Pack with Roland Tembo. The latest Legacy set that Mattel is adding to their Legacy line is the Sarah Harding and Stegosaurus Pack, directly inspired by The Lost World. I found this set at a toy store while on vacation in…

What’s in the Fanattik mystery box?

They are THE British manufacturer of movie memorabilia and collectibles, who were kind enough to send a mystery box filled with amazing Jurassic Park and Jurassic World merchandising. One of the great “lines” of Jurassic merchandise that Fanattic has been putting out for quite some time are “expanded universe” items, like the very well known golden and silver park tickets.…

Well, there it is…

The previous years we got the limited editions of John Hammond, Dennis Nedry and Ray Arnold. In 2022, Mattel turned the iconic image of Dr. Ian Malcolm laying bare chested and wounded in the Jurassic Park control room in an exclusive toy version. He’s packed in the faux book that the character wrote after the Jurassic Park and The Lost World events. It appeared briefly as a prop in the Jurassic World control room.
