Released in Italy in 1993, this “Il Mondo Perduto: Jurassic Park” poster was part of a major Galbani Crema Bel Paese promotion tied to the original Jurassic Park film. Distributed as a free insert with Topolino (Mickey Mouse) magazine, the poster combined play, education, and brand marketing: the front featured a large Jurassic Park–themed layout where children could complete the scene by gluing round dinosaur stickers collected from the reverse side of Crema Bel Paese mozzarella labels, while the back of the poster offered illustrated, kid-friendly educational text about dinosaurs, their habitats, climate, and evolution, under the headline “Dove vivevano i giganti” (“Where the giants lived”). Blending collectible food packaging, movie artwork, and prehistoric learning, this interactive poster is a classic example of early-1990s Jurassic Park merchandising in Europe and a nostalgic survivor of a uniquely hands-on promotional era.
