Jurassic World Bashers ’n Biters was one of the main toy lines released by Hasbro in 2015 to coincide with the launch of Jurassic World. Aimed at younger fans, this budget-friendly series featured a variety of dinosaurs with basic action features and simple articulation. Each figure had a built-in attack mechanism, such as a biting jaw or a tail-activated slashing motion. Notable dinosaurs in the line included the Indominus rex, Tyrannosaurus rex, Stegoceratops (a hybrid dinosaur briefly seen on a screen in Jurassic World’s lab), Spinosaurus, and Allosaurus.
While the Bashers ’n Biters line offered an affordable way to bring Jurassic World dinosaurs to life, it did come with some drawbacks. The figures were made of lightweight plastic and their simplified sculpting and paint applications lacked the detail seen in previous Jurassic Park toy lines.
Fun fact: fans dubbed this version the Mountain Dew T-Rex due to its odd green color.
