Its “Real Feel” skin offers a tactile, rubberized surface that recalls the lifelike detail of Kenner’s 1990s figures, while the refined proportions and expressive head sculpt reflect Mattel’s contemporary design language. Interestingly, a similar aesthetic was explored nearly a decade earlier by Hasbro with its Dino Hybrid line, which featured a similar painted Indominus Rex that with hybrid-inspired detailing.
