Description

The Radio Control Truck with Spitting Dilophosaurus was a standout toy from Tyco, released in 1997 as part of The Lost World: Jurassic Park merchandise. This unique RC vehicle featured a motorized truck equipped with a caged Dilophosaurus figure in the back. One of its features was the ability to make the dinosaur break out of its cage and “spit” water over 20 feet, mimicking the Dilophosaurus’ iconic behavior from the movies. The truck also had dual motor controls for versatile driving and operated on 27MHz frequency, allowing it to race against other RC vehicles on different frequencies.

It’s worth noting that although this vehicle was designed by Hasbro/Kenner’s competitor Tyco, the Dilophosaurus model is identical to the Electronic Dilophosauurs released by Kenner in 1993.
