The company is best known for holding the Marvel Comics toy license from 1990 to 2006. In 1993, Marvel Entertainment Group acquired a minority stake in Toy Biz, which significantly boosted its profile and market reach. They specialized in designing, marketing, and distributing a diverse range of toys, including action figures, dolls, and activity toys. Their product lines were based on popular entertainment properties, consumer brand names, and proprietary designs. The company’s focus on Marvel characters like Spider-Man, the Incredible Hulk, and the X-Men made it a household name among comic book fans and toy collectors.
