Description

In 2001, Hasbro’s Playskool division introduced the Jurassic Park Junior toy line, aiming to bring the excitement of dinosaurs to preschool-aged children. This collection featured a range of dinosaur figures and playsets with vibrant colors, rounded designs, and simplified features to ensure safety and appeal for younger audiences. The toys often included interactive elements like electronic sounds and spring-loaded actions, enhancing imaginative play.

Notable examples from this line include the Iguanodon figure, which boasted a spring-loaded “leaping action” feature activated by pressing down on its body. Other dinosaurs in the series encompassed species such as Tyrannosaurus, Pteranodon, Triceratops, Ankylosaurus, Dilophosaurus, Velociraptor, Stegosaurus, Parasaurolophus, and for the first and only time an Archaeopteryx.

This Trapping the Dinos set in the Jurassic Toys collection is missing the action figure that was included orginally.
