Mattel’s Jumping Velociraptor is a toy released for the Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom toyline. The toy first appeared as Blue and comes packaged with Owen as part of the “Story Pack” assortment. The toy’s gimmick revolves around pressing it into a sitting position so that its spring-loaded legs would make it jump.
The figure would later be repainted throughout the Fallen Kingdom line, and it would be repainted as the raptor from The Lost World: Jurassic Park for the Legacy Collection line. At one point, the figure would be resculpted and repainted to resemble the male raptors from Jurassic Park III for the same line, but was later cancelled; however, the resculpt would eventually be released for the Dino Rivals line, but with a different paint scheme. The figure would return in its original sculpt and paint scheme as Blue again for both the Dino Rivals and Primal Attack lines. It would later be repainted twice for the Camp Cretaceous line, one of which is meant to resemble Echo.
