The Jurassic World: Rebirth hype train has officially left the station! Just days after Universal dropped the first teaser trailer for the upcoming film, Mattel has unveiled the first toy from the Rebirth lineup—a brand-new Bite ’N Blast Mosasaurus, now available for preorder.
A Fresh Take on a Fan-Favorite. The Mosasaurus has been a staple of Jurassic World since its jaw-dropping debut in the 2015 film, and Mattel has released multiple versions of the aquatic predator over the years. However, this Rebirthedition introduces new play features and a striking redesign to match its updated look in the movie.
This version of the Mosasaurus comes with a spring-loaded “blast” feature, allowing kids (and collectors) to launch a projectile from its mouth, simulating an underwater attack. The figure also boasts realistic texturing, articulated fins, and a dynamic pose that emphasizes the Mosasaurus’s power as the ocean’s apex predator. Plus, it includes a mini Dilophosaurus figure—an unexpected but exciting addition to the set.
Available for Preorder Now. Fans eager to get their hands on the Bite ’N Blast Mosasaurus can preorder it now through Mattel’s official store. That’s if you live in the United States though. There’s no information yet when and how international fans can open up their wallet and start collecting the new toy line.
