Each weekly newsstand kit included both agile predators with their unique characteristics—the Dilophosaurus featuring its fictionalized neck frill and venom-spitting portrayal from the film, while the Deinonychus represented the real-world paleontological inspiration behind the film’s Velociraptors. The set came with a large illustrated poster emphasizing movement and contrast between the two species.
