Jurassic Park – The Exhibition guidebook

This official bilangual guidebook was produced to accompany Jurassic Park: The Exhibition at Museon, Den Haag (The Hague), one of the Netherlands’ leading science and culture museums. The exhibition itself was a production by the American Dinosaur Society and RCI Production Inc., and had previously been shown at the prestigious American Museum of Natural History in New York before travelling to Europe. Fossil and geological material on display was loaned from Brigham Young University (Provo, USA), Henskens Fossielen (Oss, Netherlands), and the Mineralogical Geological Museum of the Technical University of Delft, while the exhibition design was handled by Harvey Harman Consultants Ltd. of Canada — giving this traveling show a genuinely international character.

The guidebook serves as both an educational companion to the exhibition and a tangible souvenir of a remarkable moment when Spielberg’s blockbuster inspired a real-world museum experience, making it a distinctive and somewhat overlooked piece of Jurassic Park print ephemera that bridges popular cinema and institutional science.
