Special Edition LaserDisc (Italy)


Released in 1994, this special Jurassic Park LaserDisc edition is a striking collector’s box set from Pioneer that stands out from the standard release thanks to its unique “fossil” themed packaging and extra printed inserts. Inside, it includes a multi-page booklet and additional paper pieces that explore the film’s story, dinosaurs, DNA, and production themes, giving the set a more educational and premium presentation than a regular home video release.

LaserDisc was a large optical video disc format used to store movies with better picture quality than VHS. It was popular with collectors and home cinema fans before DVDs replaced it in the late 1990s.
