Every collection has a heart, and for many of us, Alan Grant has always been part of ours. Sam Neill, who brought paleontologist Alan Grant to life in Jurassic Park, Jurassic Park III and Jurassic World : Dominion, has passed away, leaving behind a legacy that shaped an entire generation of dinosaur lovers, collectors, and film fans.
For those of us who grew up chasing every Jurassic Park toy, sticker, and figure, Alan Grant wasn’t just a character. He was the steady, skeptical scientist who taught us to look at dinosaurs with both wonder and respect. Neill’s performance gave the franchise its emotional backbone, and that influence is reflected in decades of merchandise built around his character.
